The conversion of a former water tower at Thorpeness into an upmarket 8 Bed holiday let. This project is now nearing completion. Built in the 1920’s to imitate a large medieval gatehouse, it was built with a steel frame with concrete encasement and brick cladding. Works included cathodic protection to arrest corrosion of the steel frame and a complete re-fit of interior finishes. Together with a swimming pool and hot tub in the re-modelled garden.

AMA have provided the full Quantity Surveying service for this truly unique project.

‘From cost planning, contractor selection, value engineering to monthly valuations - AMA have been a pleasure to work with. I developed 3 - 4 complex buildings a year and this has been our favourite experience of working alongside a QS. We would work with Andrew again in a heartbeat.’ - Tom Leahy - Architect - PARTI
