Working with specialist suppliers AMA produced a cost plan for funding of stone restoration works and general conservation works and cost management of the works on site. The works involved replacement of corroded metal rings at the base of the turrets - a complex and risky operation as it involves propping the turret above and replacing the rings in sections in a confined space.
"We have worked recently with Andrew Morton of Andrew Morton Associates Ltd on two projects for which we have provided conservation advice: the proposed relocation of a Second World War RAF hut at Biggin Hill, Bromley, and stonework repairs to the Danish Church, St Katharine s Precinct, NW1. These jobs required accurate and up-to-date costs for submission to the HLF and others. Andrew s work in both cases was efficient and thorough, and his reports were well presented. It was a pleasure to work with him."
