This wonderful extension of the ‘MO’ provides 2nd floor education space, housing an Atlantic 75 lifeboat as well as a north facing terrace overlooking the sea. Particular challenges included the extension work taking place over an existing live museum. AMA managed pre-procurement of the steelwork frame which was necessary due to long manufacturing times. Completing on time and within budget, the MO extension was opened by the Duke of Kent in March 2017.
