AMA produced a cost plan for emergency repairs to the roof structure, following the uncontrolled collapse of the dormer in 2016. A roof survey identified significant repair works required to the roof, including the dismantling and rebuilding of brick dormers and highly decorative Tudor chimneys from the 15th century. Particular challenges on this project included accurate forecasting of the cost of deconstruction and reconstruction of the Tudor chimneys and the remoteness of the location. Works are now on site with completion expected late 2021.
